COURSE INFORMATION

God calls the faith community to be a nurturing, supportive and healing presence in this world. This course will provide an introductory foundation to, and the skills required for, a ministry of health, healing and wholeness by Registered Nurses and Pastoral Health Care Volunteer to Christian faith communities. The faith community may be a congregation, church based care agency, church school, church aged care facility or groups conducted under the auspices of the church. The content is aimed at Registered Nurses but interested faith community workers of all denominations are welcome to register. Places are limited, so you are advised to apply early.

The course coordinator, Dr Antonia (Anne) van Loon, is a Registered Nurse. She currently has a position as a Senior Research Fellow at Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS), Adelaide, Australia. Anne has 14 years experience working as a nurse educator within the tertiary sector.
